Inheritance Services
Inheritance Procedure — 3 Stages
Stage 1 — Court Case
A Probate Order must be obtained from the Turkish Court. Required documents include: original death certificate, marriage certificate, birth certificates of surviving spouse and children, and passport copies — all apostilled. Your lawyer will prepare the power of attorney and all necessary declarations.
Stage 2 — Tax Office Procedure
Your lawyer will apply to the Ministry for appointment of the relevant tax office. Declaration forms will be filled and submitted on your behalf. Inheritance tax and fees will be paid, and a tax certificate obtained.
Stage 3 — Property Registration
Valuation report obtained from Local Council. Outstanding council taxes and utility bills paid. Legal documents prepared and submitted to the Land Registrar. Registry fees paid and registration completed at the Land Registry Office.
Corporate Services
Company Formation Package
Fixed fee: €2,500 — includes all chamber of commerce fees, notary fees, power of attorney, signature sample, tax office and gazette fees. We handle all aspects of the Turkish company formation process.
Company Maintenance Package
Annual fee: €1,900 — day-to-day services for tax and business address obligations.
Approximate yearly costs (if not trading): €1,300 — including stamp duties, taxes, chamber of commerce fees and notarisation of yearly books.
